On 2 May 1810 the decree of Joachim Murat, King of Naples, abolished the abbess' power. It strikes like a bolt from the blue, these women who have been powerful for centuries. Now she is a woman who can "sail" towards new horizons. On the other hand, life teaches us that each of us can experience the "bolt from the blue" that takes away our economic and personal certainties.
The miter stands high, leaving her hair free to fly in the wind, the crosier falls to the ground, the ring slips off her finger.
It's all over... Now she's just a woman.
